**Spartans Rising 8U Baseball Steamrolls to Finals!**

This weekend was nothing short of spectacular for the Spartans Rising 8U baseball team as they clinched two playoff victories, securing their spot in the finals against Surge Shore next weekend.

**Quarter Finals vs. Rumson Dawgs:**
On Saturday, the Spartans showed their might, defeating Rumson Dawgs 17-9. Ryan B was the star of the show, driving in four runs with three doubles and a walk, showcasing his prowess at the plate. The Spartans didn’t let up, piling on 16 hits with multiple hits from Jude M, Peyton K, Barrett B, and Liam H. The team's defense was impeccable with no errors, highlighted by Joey's eight fielding chances. Despite a strong performance from Rumson Dawgs, the Spartans were too much to handle.

**Semi Finals vs. Freehold Bombers 7U:**
Sunday's game against Freehold Bombers 7U was a nail-biter. Although Spartans Rising 8u led by 8 runs, Freehold fought back, narrowing the gap to just one run. The Spartans' offense was led by Ryan B and Jude M, who combined for several key hits, including a double from Jude that drove in two. Barrett B had a perfect day at the plate, going 3-for-3. Despite the Bombers' comeback attempt, Spartans held on for an 8-7 victory, advancing to the finals.

The team's resilience, hitting, and defensive plays were the talk of the tournament. A special mention goes to Ryan for his pitching relief and to all the players for keeping their composure under pressure.

The spartan 8U team had a tough weekend taking their second lost in the last game of the regular season. The team has secured their spot in the playoffs as the 2 seed and will look to bounce back this weekend at home against rumson.

Spartans Rising 8u Loses Despite Out Hitting Lincroft

Even though Spartans Rising 8u collected 12 hits to Lincroft's eight, they still fell 6-4 on Saturday. Tyler B led Spartans Rising 8u with three hits.

Spartans Rising 8u got on the board in the top of the first inning after Jude M singled, and Dylan G hit into a fielder's choice, each scoring one run.

Lincroft tied the game in the bottom of the second thanks to a double by Wyatt, and a single by Billy.

Lincroft jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the third inning after Gio walked, and Tommy was struck by a pitch, each scoring one run.

Spartans Rising 8u piled up 12 hits in the game. Jude and Dylan were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for Spartans Rising 8u. Barrett B and Ryan B each collected multiple hits for Spartans Rising 8u. Spartans Rising 8u turned one double play in the game.

Number seven hitter, Mason, showed the depth of Lincroft's lineup, by leading them with two hits in three at bats. Wyatt, Billy, Gio, and Tommy each drove in one run for Lincroft.

The spartan 8U boys continued their winning streak yesterday with a double header sweep against PRD outscoring their opponent 30-2 in two games. They are now 7-1 and in a tie for first place.

In Game 1 Joseph Draesals Clutch Hitting Propels Spartans Rising 8u To Victory Over PRD

Joseph D drove in four runs on two hits to lead Spartans Rising 8u past PRD 15-1 on Monday. Joseph singled in the first scoring two, doubled in the second scoring one, and walked in the third scoring one.

PRD got on the board in the first inning after #4 grounded out, scoring one run.

Spartans Rising 8u flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the first, scoring five runs on eight hits to take the lead, 5-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Joseph that drove in two.

Spartans Rising 8u scored five runs on eight hits in the bottom of the second inning. Peyton K doubled, scoring two runs, Joseph doubled, scoring one run, Barrett B singled, scoring one run, and Joey K singled, scoring one run.

Spartans Rising 8u extended their early lead with three runs in the bottom of the third thanks to RBI walks by Joseph, Liam H, and Jonah S.

Tyler Boker and Joseph Draesal were outstanding on the bump for Spartans Rising 8u and shutdown PRD pitching scoreless innings.

Spartans Rising 8u collected 16 hits in the game. Jonah sears, Peyton Kaesar, Barrett, Ryan B, Joseph, and Trevor Black each collected two hits for Spartans Rising 8u. Spartans Rising 8u had patience at the plate, amassing six walks for the game.

#4 led the team with one run batted in. #23, #99, and #3 each collected one hit for PRD.
